Kofi Busia has been teaching yoga in the Iyengar tradition for more than 35 years and has held an Advanced Iyengar Teaching Certificate for more than 33 years.
He began his study of yoga as a student at Oxford and has taught professionally since then. From the 1970s through the mid-1980s, Busia studied regularly with B.K.S. Iyengar, and directly from him on a regular basis at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, Maharashtra, South India. He also has studied and taught Sanskrit and Indian philosophy. Kofi Busia is editor of Iyengar: The Yoga Master and is working on a translation and commentary of the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali.
