Yoga for Kids
Busy schedules and after school activities place a strain on a child's well being. The practice of Yoga has become popular in helping children learn to relax in our modern world. Yoga for children allows kids to gain greater body awareness and at the same time develop physical strength, flexibility, and balance. While doing yoga exercises children connect with nature and their bodies: in warrior pose they become warriors, in cobra pose they become snakes, in tree pose they become oaks. The poses allow their creativity to expand to new horizons, and use their bodies as centers for self learning. At the same time they begin to develop a sense of calmness, discipline and confidence. Children will have fun, at the same time develop life long skills
